Is there anyway to set up a sump on an undrilled tank? Can't I just have a strong pump pulling water out and going to sump?
Any suggestions? I no u shouldn't do this but I can't empty my tank to drill...

Overflow box. That's the way mine set up. You can't put a pump on the tank to the sump because it will be almost Inposible to match the flow rate with another pump from sump to tank. So you would most likely flood somewhere. Overflow boxes are designed for this reason.

The pump way can be done but you need a controller to control it and for that kind of setup its expensive that would cost more than a tank with a overflow box build in so not even worth it. Use a siphon overflow only bad things about those they tend get bubbles in there and algae grows in there which slow flows down and you have to re-prime them. For a little more money get drilled or buy another tank that comes with it.
