I am worried about the 6500k will over power the blues...so was thinking about taking that out of the mix
But your pix looks very nice...

No, you need at least 1, you dont want all blue+ and actinic. You at least need 1x 6500K, 1x 3000K, or 1x aquablue(10000K). But if you load it up with blueplus's it will be more white than you think. I've always found it looks best to me with 3 actinics + a combo of blueplus's and 6500K, or 3000K bulbs. But keep in mind, that is just my personal preference, and yours probably differs. Buy an extra couple bulbs to help play with the colors. One very important thing to remember with T5's tho, is bulb placement is critical!!! if you want a more white or yellow(natural) look put those bulbs towards the front, and if you want more blueish, put those towards the front. Bulb placement makes a huge difference.
