I just came into possession of a Eclipse 2 hood today (as well, 2 tanks [2.5 and 25], and a bunch of other things) for a steal on craigslist. It uses two T8 tubes. What spectrum/lamps should I get for it?

Depend on what you want to put in there. fresh or saltwater fish ?
for Saltwater fish, you can use 10K (white) + Actinic or Blue bulb
for Freshwater fish, pink bulb (Aqua-glo) is fine
For planted tank, go with 6700 K
For Corals---- I don't think 2 T8 bulb is strong enough for them.

you can get use Power Compact light or High Output T5 for cheap which allow you to have some softy and zoos.
Also your tank is kind of tall, so the weak light Normal Output T8 can't reach to the bottom.
You might consider Non photosynthesis corals but they do require more feeding.

My previous post for your 25gallon tank.
For your 2.5 gallon. you can use 2x13Watt Power Compact for Mushrooms and zoos.
