i will start it off, not the best pic. but what ever.

my powder blue tang

i have had him for over a year, but i am unsure the exact time.

he ate after 3-4 days or so....i think the key in the beggining, was a constant amount of nori avaible for the tang, as well as trying a variety of foods....he loves mysis shrimp and pellets (i forget the brand) and i exclusively feed my fish a homemade type of food. and he just loves it. water quality is huge this fish will most def. suffer is the quality falls below par. he has only had ich once, which was in the first week or two of getting him, and hasnt had it since.....the key to finding a good fish like this, is making sure he eats and is nice and fat! as well as having no signs of disease!

blue hippo is a great tang . looks like Dori in Finding Nemo. i had one. it was very sensitive to good water quality. make sure you change your water once a week as you should be doing anyway. yellow tangs are great too. if you plan on having a yellow tang put it in your tank last or it may become aggresive. good luck

Here is a pic of my two tangs yellow mimic and desjardini. The yellow I have had for about 9 months and the desjardini for about 7. They both eat nori like crazy, well basically anything that goes in the tank they eat and are very healthy. The desjardini had improved in health and look since I have had him.

Here is a pic of the desjardini when I first got him
