So when I broke down my tank and moved my stand there was a bunch of dark black/ grey spots on the carpet. Used about 4 different carpet cleaners and its still there. Anyone else ever have this? What did you use? The fiance is super pissed

Looks like mold and water stains. Wash it with a little bleach and then out a area rug on it, lol problem solved. But seriously if it has mold wash it with a little bleach so you will kill it.

Lucky for you, we have a member of scr that cleans carpets for a living. Unlucky for you, I can't recall which member that is. Good luck to you.

Use the search feature... He made a thread about trading corals for carpet cleaning... It was within the last 6 months

To be honest, I don't think that's coming out. I mean you can blast it with a shampoo carpet cleaner and see if it helps... And, unless you want to turn those dark spots into white spots, I wouldn't use bleach.

Better to remove that square of carpet, cause you probably have mold beneath it. Bleach the concrete, black mold is really bad for your health, ask me how i know.
