1 of my anemone went into the overflow plugged it up tank started overflowing tank. I noticed it when it was alittle too late. Anemone was done for it was shredded up and nasty strings.
Now my water is cloudy and hasn't cleared up. I did a small water change just in case and water seems to be getting cloudier.

It looks as if I would have poured some of the purple up additive in there.

I am lost here.

ah crap. it's about 60G. I did 10 gallon water change. I need to go buy water I am all out.
1 thing I did notice is the anemone smelled like a lemon when I pulled it out.

where are you located? and yes you need to do at least 25% water change, i wouldn't go more than 50%, thats just IMO. wait a couple days and do another 25%. if you have a charcoal filter, run it with new media, if not don't worry about it.

Yeah, do at least 25-50% but no more. Then in 3-4 days do another one like 25% and run carbon, when my anem felt like going suicidal through the powerhead i went out and bought a super cheap HOB filter and threw carbon in it. Worked good. And i ended up with two beautiful roses.

Replaced the carbon this morning. Going to get water right now. It's cloudy like when you setup a new tank and pour the sand in.
