Tek t5 fixture help

Well 2 of the bulbs are not working should I change out the ballast ? Is it difficult to do any advice will help The fixture is a old tek 48" 8 bulb

It's pretty simple. You can upgrade ballasts at home depot or buy the ones ati uses from brs and replace them with those. Just make sure it's not the end caps first

How do I check the end caps were would I get those ? Yesterday I wiggled the bulb and they came on but now they stopped working

If it's an old fixture I would recommend getting end caps also. It'll basically make your fixture work *like new*

Brs end caps will fit that fixture. Not sure if home depot sells end caps cause I never checked

If wiggling got it to work, then it's the endcap or the solder points on the endcap.

Check for any lose wire on the tombstone or end caps same thing

Just found out that you can buy new end caps from sunlight supply thru one of their distributors. I may buy some new ones for my 48" fixture as well

Yeah you can actually buy them pretty much anywhere. Just make sure it's the same "type" or style end cap so it'll fit without modding
