So... 1 day out on business travel and I get a text from my aquarium.

Wife left with A/C off and windows closed. Looks like she turned off the AC at night. I always have it at 76-77 when I am home and 78-79 on hot days when I'm at work.

I guess it was hot in socal today. My clip on target fan couldn't keep up (on at 78.7 off at 78.5)
Mr. Apex automatically turned off the WP25's & Skimmer but still temp was rising. Texted the wifey to turn the **** AC on and open the tank drawer to get air circulated in the sump. Need to invest in more fans or a chiller...

I think this is one of the reasons I love my controller so much. It's saved my tank a few times! Glad to hear it works for others also

For sure! I am also working on putting 2 more float valves in addition to my ATO sensor for fail safe and will also place one or two more on the reservoir.

I also placed a float valve on my skimmer collection cup (probably will place a 2nd sensor for safety) to turn off the skimmer when its full and text me so I can drain or have someone drain the collection cup which the skimmer automatically turns on once the switch is Closed.

Waiting for 6 leak detector sensors from China to place all around the tank and sump =)

Endless possibilities!!!

I recommend on getting a Dlink 932L (with Night mode). I have one setup on the DT and will purchase a second one for the sump. Although I haven't figured out how to set this up on the fusion, I am happy with just the mydlink app/web.

I can view mine if I am using Fusion on the same network (ie at home) but not if away from home.

I think you need to use a DyDns type set up but for some reason since TWC changed our modem for a new all singing all dancing wifi one I can't seem to get anything to work with DyDns including the old Apex Iphone app.

Kinda had the same thing happen today, i guess my girl also left the AC off usually when where gone its still at 79 or 80, anyways the house got up to 85 and my tank temps went up to 79.5 with fan going. Luckily we where not gone to long and i noticed when we got in the house that it was hot so i looked at the APEX display and then turned on the AC to cool it down, my apex would have texted me if the temp reached 80 in the tank, i caught it before do. Im thinking of adding another fan under in the sump area. My current FAN is over the DT blowing across the water.
