These might b great for people with 50 gallons or less. The 25s do great in my 180. The 40s were to strong for my taste.

Only bummer is they use suction cups. No magnets. Kind of a bummer. :/

I'll prolly be in for one or two for my sump. I like keeping power heads in there to stir up detritus

Read up on fish-street and they had a disclaimer that it will come with the magnets and not the suction cups. I agree though, if it was suction cups it would be a no go for me. Here is the disclaimer in their famous perfect engrish: Attention : Our Wave Maker is the Latest Magnet Model. Even the Picture is Cups, we will provides a Upgrade Magnet version

What do you consider long term? I don't think any of the WP pumps have even been in the market for a year yet.
I just keep hearing you have to keep cleaning them about every 2 weeks, and heard some die after a few months. I know the price is good, but not if they dint last at least a year or two.

I've had my 40 sense the 3rd gb here I've cleaned it once and had it in the wavebox for most of the time. I've had my 25s sense the 4th gb. I've never cleaned them. All my wp's are still running fine(knocking on wood). I think some people have gotten some defected pumps. Hey but what do u expect from cheap china s***.

With something that's been pretty popular lately you're definitely going to hear a lot of the gripes and issues from reefers but I think there are many satisfied customers from them. The cost of one is very low so the risk is minimal if you want to try one. If you're worried about the longevity though, probably shouldn't post up all yout nice pumps up for sale and replace them with jebaos in one fell swoop. Try one out first.

i dont know how big your tank is but mine is about 30g ish cube. say bye bye to sand cause the wp25 kicks azz. i threw sand in my tank hoping it would sit around the base of the rocks enough to get some sort of wrasse and now its all piled up on one side.

Looking to get a wp10 for my frag tank once they become available. They will have the magnet mount and I have already seen a site that is doing a preorder for $60 shipped.
