They will owe, but if you still paying the payment for the lease/buy right? What if you buy your system outright, then whatever power you generate past what you use, they pay your for? At what rate? I'm in tier 5 right now, paying about 350-400/month.

U need a solar system STAT. If your serious, shoot me a PM. The guy that did mine is legit and i have gotten a few people to sign up through him. Nobody has been able to beat his deal yet. Before I signed up, I called other solar guys and asked them to beat his price, they all told me no way, deal was too good to beat

I know. I'm not sure how long we're planning on staying here. I want to move to norco hills, but that may just be a pipe dream. If you don't mind, send me the info, I will give him a shot. It's funny because with solar city, they want all kinds of bs, running a credit check etc, before they will even give you a quote. Look on yelp about SC, a lot of edited and removed reviews.

After Solar City noticed our system was under performing (3.4kw system was producing ~12-13 kWh per day), they came out and found that the inverter's 2nd zone was never activated. So 5 panels were just for looks since Dec. Now we are seeing 18-19 kWh/day.

I went with solar city. Bill prior was $290-375 a month now I average $60-115/mo in solar and $20-40 to Edison.
Just wondering how you got your monthly to vary with Solar City's lease. THey quote me a fixed flat rate lease at $165 for a 8.5k system. While your system is smaller I like how your monthly lease varies. Is that another lease plan

So. .... Here's a shot of my Edison hourly usage the day after I shut my tank down. I used to run the tank from 7pm to 3 am because I was never home until night time. I also charge my Nissan leaf after 12 am because I'm on the electric car program. I pay .11 cents a kilowatt after 12am.... Until 6am. You can seed when I'm generating during the peak hours.
I actually generate at 48 cents a kilowatt during the hours of 10a-6p. So I make power at a much greater rate tan I use it. It's a loop hole in the system because I have solar and am on the electric vehicle rate plan. Check it out! !!

Sean…it's all about the loophole where I'm solar and have an electric vehicle. The rate plan I get for off peak it super cheap compared to the 5 tier system everyone else is on. I have two tiers.
