my downgrade....... well im downgrading and im going with a 40 breeder with a 250 hqi,.. heres the pics of my tank

ok so i officially return my aga and ordered my Leemar.. heres the specs
36x18x16 (LxWxH)
2 3/4" bulkhead holes
1 1.5" bulkhead hole
right corner overflow
sides and front starphire
rimless/trimless

nope and its running well! but i am getting a tunze nanoskimmer 9002.000 soon so i can start zeovit

looks good so far, defiinetly need to get that skimmer. With no overflow you really need the skimmer to help oxygenate the water, i doubt the surface ripples will be enough. Also, that is a vrey small system to run Zeovit, you are going to need to be very diligent in keeping your alk stable or you are going to have issues. Keep us posted!

I've seen many skimmerless tanks that are thriving.

Have you ever seen a Zeovit tank without a skimmer? Zeovit systems need very low nutrient levels. Also, like I said the skimmer will help oxygenate the water and improve the overall health of the tank. We have all seen aquariums without skimmers that doesn't mean it will work for all systems.
