Seems like a waste. I mean I have 2 of this 3g myself and have always thought about an 160 over them but a 360? I mean come on are you running the intensity at 10%? That's way too much light in 10" of water. The stock light it comes with is actually too much light. a $40 Actinic Current LED Pro is all it needs not an apex. Why not set up a 24 inch display and utilize the Kessil to it's ability and not have to worry as much. I see over $1000 in equipment but no ATO on 3gallon of water? A Hydor wave controller? You use Apex but don't spring for a Vortech or Jebao that can pulse the pump?

Yeah but still for $400 for a 360 I'd rather have two A160s for only a little more and better water motion. Then I could color up my SPS from all angles. Cause why do anything other than SPS with this much light. (Actually I'd use the stock light and use the $40 Current Actinic 12" LED instead of using a Kessil. And if I did use a kessil it'd be a 150 for sure.
I'd also at least put on the nano tunzee ATO. But would spend the $200 for the security alarm.
I literally see no use for this apex. There's no probes in the actual water. Why have a hydor controller when you have apex LOL! To kill the impellers?
And like what are you even running in the HOB filter? Maybe a little carbon or purigen. Pretty much useless haha
Considering my Kessil is 1.5 feet above my water and my T5s are ~4ft above water I'd also say the Kessil this close to water will nuke most corals other than SPS. I'd raise the goose neck.
