This on going saga of arguments and disrespect has got to stop. I am not one who enforces rules very well and I hate to do it, but there will be certain rules create in the next couple of days. I hate seeing so much hatred and disrespect in this forum and it needs to get under control now. We are mostly all adults here, and its hard to imagine mature people arguing like this over the net. I figured I would be able to moderate this community on my own, but it has been proven harder than expected. There will be tougher moderators around here since I do not have the time to moderate this site all the time. This site started out as a friendly community and everyone was close knit, but things have gotten ugly real fast. I hope all this drama does not stop anybody from visiting this site. I know it has for some. I will be working hard to create a friendly and non hostile atmosphere once again...

it is unfortunate, and there seems no way to truly talk abut the issue at hand as the problem lies with the inability of the club to resolve conflicts due to thier lack of management and or rules . They been around twenty years longer then you have too.

The self appoint 'leaders' are complicit in thier actions, and are styiming any voices that appose thier actions, or inactions.

A public forum for the 'little guy' to speak out is non existant.

I appreciate the lattitude you have shown so far, but it was inevitable that those in power abuse it, and some will complain abut it. and the need to install order for your own protection and livlihood was inevitable...

I apprecite all the opportunitty I have gotten, and fear it will not be enough, against the tides of complacency, exactly what the corrupt leadeers are banking on...

Here is to another snowballs chance in hell to right the inequities of the day...

Best. Thread. EVER...

Thank you, Mike. Hopefully we can all show each other the respect and consideration that is appropriate.

Again, this is a really neat site, and I for one am very grateful you have put forth the effort to make it happen.

:adore: :adore: :adore:

Kudos!

There's a difference between "moderation" and "censorship".

I hope you'll keep this site a bit more liberated in spite of the events that transpired these past few days.

i agree, i prefer the site the way it is now. freedom of speech and all that good stuff. if you got beef with some one maybe there can be a seperate thread area for personal attacks. let it all out, let the truth be told, vent.

No, it's a community. Communities will always have outcasts not welcome. If their is no order those most bothered by "outcast" personalities will migrate elsewhere. As a community the governing body must decide what's most important to them and take actions they see appropriate for the good of the community. If they fail they can be left with little of value to the mainstream community.

To speak reasonably and openly, without censorship is an excellent idea. To publicly berate, humiliate be morally degenerate with useless idosyncrancies and stoop to the lowest of disregard for personal conduct in an attempt NOT try to prove or gain acceptance of a viewpoint BUT in an attempt to bully to make a forum specifically inhospitable for those who do not share their views is what potentially will degenerate a valuable resource into something of little value.

I don't believe this issue is about the freedom to speak. I believe it is about respect and consideration for others.

It is fine that people have differing opinions. But when your view is different than the others view, it does not give you the right to launch persistent, malicious attacks against them simply because their view is not the same as yours.

Frankly, I find it noteworthy that the issue that keeps being brought up revolves around "free speech" and how it is somehow being stifled because of moderators or conduct rules that are enforced.

Anyone can say whatever they want. Anytime, any place. However, being accountable for what is said goes with that, and that seems to have slipped past the view of some.

Again, consideration and respect should always be given to others. Not just here, but everywhere. That's a very basic societal value...

Sorry, but IMO there is no reason for personal attacks.

Get on the receiving side of an "h-bomb" (as I heard it described) and see how you feel about it.

Reasonable dialog in a calm, deliberate manner will garner more productivity than a frenzied rage.

I will never buy that what was said and done to me could be justified. And that people would state that it was a free speech issue (or is somewhat inferred, at least) is beyond me...

I don't think the mods will find that acceptable and furthermore neither should anyone else.

I don't think I have any faith in that individual or that particular situation, however I DO have faith that the moderators will make reasonable enforcement efforts and that people will be treated more appropriately.

As pessimistic as I am about many things, I sometimes have a surprising amount of optimism towards the strangest of things...

I would and do stand behind what I say. HOW ABOUT YOU???

TAke responsibility for cutting and pasting two totally unrelated comments toegether to make it look like I resonded or replied to teh commnet you referenced...

Your are the problem plain and simple, it will be your tactic to do whatever it takes to get whatever you want, right wrong indifferent, I have left you aloe til you do or pull stuff like this over an over, after repeated TACTICS, I will respond accordingly and escalate to whatever level you choose to go.

you think you play the high road rold, but whether you call names or pull tactics, dont matter to me, it is an escalation.

It is not amatter of faith, it is a matter or reaping what you sow... keep it up, pull tactics where I can not reply on other forums to your intenional minipulation of soundabites cut and pasted to your choosing, and it will continue, very simple, you want it to stop, then STOP...
