This Coral gone??

I have no ideal lmao. It's a frag I just got from LFS. The part that is bone left only has been cut by saw. So I'm not sure if it'll heal or not. I just found out after I got home. It's a blasto, which I'm not then sure it is or not anymore.

I don't have a saw. Will it grow over the bone? I paid 50 for this..... Guess the light fool my eyes.

blastos are very sensitive to lighting. i would put him in a more shaded area that allows more blue lighting in & medium flow where it gently hits the coral, its at a delicate stage. too much flow will press its flesh onto its skeleton & stress it even more, running a risk of tearing flesh. when you feed frozen, thaw the food in some tank water & with a turkey baster, gently blow some of the water from the food on top of the blasto, to stimulate it. hope it helps. good luck & happy reefing.
