Honestly I love the look of a kessil hanging over a tank and love the cord but they just don't grow sps. I've seen yet another tank that doesn't grow sps. Lots of spread but no par.
Oh wait not sure if it's model specific. I've seen first hand that kessils can be controlled by the apex but I don't know if there are specific models that can or cannot

Yeah, I think it's just the a360, that's why I got them. Either way, for an extra few bucks you get the latest and greatest. I am poor (mike) can get you one for $400 brand new. I bought two from him.

Just got my 360w not to long ago. I love it. I use it for my frag tank and everything is growing, even my sps. Like them so much might even get more for my main tank. Just like they said only the 360 is controllable not tb e 350. I like them.
i would say the ecotech radions but im not familiar with the par readings for kessil. I've seen videos from that dude mr. saltwater, he demonstrated it for the radions
