Hey guys I really need help. So I made an impulse buy today, got a tiger tail sea cucumber, and now I read some posts about the potential of a cuke nuke. What are your opinions, does anyone have one of these guys or better yet did anyone have one die on them? Any help would be appreciated.

I always thought they wore cool but the idea of it releasing toxins when it dies always steered me away. Bigger the system the less of an impact.

I've never heard of anyone crashing their tanks because of one.

I have 2 in my 180 and one of them I transfered with my 90 to 180 upgrade. I did have a black one also in my 90 that just up and dissapeared but that doesn't mean it is not possible for them to nuke a tank, I just haven't experienced it.

I remember asking Cymaster about that as he had a decent sized one and I think it can nuke your tank not from toxins but just from its sheer size and the biological filter not being able to handle the die off. I think if it did die and you got it out in time, you'd be fine.
