I got this clam on a pretty bad *** rock. A $65 rock that looks good right where I got it. I also have this clam and I want to move it to my 60 cube.

How do I accomplish this with out hurting the clam. I'd but a new clam before breaking the rock. Just going a new direction with the 240 and it wont work in there.

Thanks

In the past I've just wiggled it for an hour until it came loose. Don't pull it or wiggle too much. You don't want to hurt its foot. You do and it's toast!

Wiggle it until you see the byssal threads. They are clear and sticky. You can cut them as long as you cut as close the rock as possible. Ive done this before without problems, and it should stick to something else in less than a week. Dont mess up the foot!
