Too much moonlight?

Ok so I know Im going to get more of an opinion then a real answer but does anyone think this is too much moonlight?

This is only one 2 watt LED, one single bulb The thing covers the entire tank and more.. There is shimmer line on my floor!!! Im thinking this could be real annoying to the fish at night and Im thinking about taking it off. Opinions?

I think having an ultra-bright LED is OK as long as there's some hours of complete darkness or use a controller for moonlight phases.

Kevin, I agree w/DJ just program your controller to turn them off when you go to bed. How's the Laguna working for you?
