So guys here's the story. Right now I have a 45g plexi and really have been wanting a 90g as my final tank
(for now). I like that a few inches here and there and tank size is doubled. So I pick up a set up for $360 that came with stand, hood, 90g tank w/ center overflow and 2 3/4" bulkheads in the rear, 55g plexi sump, asm g2 skimmer, and mag seven return pump. I will be taking my time with this so follow along! Here's some pics.

So tonight I worked on a closet next to where my 90g will be eventually. The closet was unfinished so I decided to frame it up, run electrical, and drywall. I ran a 20 amp dedicated circuit just for my tank stuff. Also ran a switch and light piggy backed off a plug that was close to the closet. Then I drywalled it. Hung my r/o unit I just picket up for $40. This room will hold a mixing tank and a ATO tank. And all my supply's.

This is where the tank will eventually go right next to the closet.

Update: ok so I'm trying to sell that 90g now because if I can sell it I'm going to get a 90g that's euro braced and starphire glass. Got a hook up for $400 but the wife says only if I sell the one I just bought. :) anyways I did get my skimmer though. It's bigger than I thought.

Ok so I've made some progress since my last post! I built a stand and got the sump where I want it and have been cycling it with live rock and my water change water from my 45g. The sump is a 55g plexi I set up the baffles so when it's running it will hold 35g of water. I had to make a stand out of plexi glass for my skimmer so it would be In the water 8" instead of 12" Also an updated picture of my closet. I put a 47g tank in there for ATO and salt water. Right now it's just salt water till I get the supplies to split the tank.

Ok so I had some time today and ended up modifying my stand so it won't be in the way for bulkheads. I also cleaned up the tank and painted the back. The back that was on it was cracking.

Hey guys check this out! I'm gunna cut this slab up to put under my tank. It'll show 2" around the front and sides then 90 down 4" towards the floor. Its gunna add a day or so of free time but I think it'll be worth it. Basically it'll look like the tank is sitting on a 4" slab of marble.
I love the way this stuff looks! What do you think?
