Want to start off by thanking Jason/TRFS for the awesome frags. They were in really great shape and aren't the cheapest thing that could've been sponsored. I'm excited to try SPS(montis excluded) in my tank for the first time and this was a great way (and price) to jump in at. Let's hope I keep them alive.

Good luck to all, although it looks like many of you won't need it. At least not to beat me...

Frag measurements:

AOG 4 polyps

Campfires 9 polyps (4 lg, 5 sm)

Monti 1" square

SPS #1 5/8" tall

SPS #2 3/4" tall

So seriously is there gonna be someone me dropping the hammer on due dates or what? I don't wanna bust my chops to take the picture on Sunday if people are gonna be turning in their homework a week late.

here's a pic of the zoa frag right when I put it in my tank after picking it up from tropical reefs bbq (thanks for the good food and hospitality guys!). I'll get my more "official", recent pic posted tomorrow with measurements, and head count.

Edit: haha after reading some of the previous posts, I realize not only how late I am with posing first picks, but also how I've already disqualified myself by gluing the frag onto my rock haha, I just wanted to do this for fun anyway.I'll still post before and after picks, and I'll try and figure out how to properly post pics to this forum, so that I can show you all my tank, I'm a newcomer.

tank parameters I use tap water mixed with instant ocean, I do not"dose", I have about 150 gallon system, with about 130g wet. I run a small protein skimmer, and carbon. I feed frozen salmon, nori, and occasionally flakes. About 200+lbs of rock and 200 lbs of sand. my water changes are pretty rare by the standards I here most people claim, everything is doing well. I'm not saying this approach is for everyone. I think my various algae in my sump and the combination of many different beneficial Copepod colonies from many different setups that I have combined into one tank may be another reason for the tanks stability, but like I said I am a newcomer, perhaps one day I'll switch my tank keeping tendencies, but of it ain't broke I won't try'en fix it. Well hello to all, hope I didn't get anyones feathers too ruffled.

Ok, well I thought I would post up due dates for the pictures, maybe that way we wont have any confusion and we can all be on the same page.

We picked up our frags between 1/6 - 1/9 right? So the Sunday that is two weeks from that weekend is 1/22/12. Jason posted earlier that pics are due no later than Sunday. So below are the dates that I would assume pictures are due. Let me know if I am wrong.

1/22/12
2/5/12
2/19/12
3/4/12
3/18/12
4/1/12
4/15/12
4/29/12
5/13/12
5/27/12
6/10/12
6/24/12

Looks good. I will add the dates to some sticky notes and place them on the side of my tank so I remember. Good looking out Juan

This is how my baseball team fell apart. It's not fun when the rules are too strict. I'll stick to the rules for now but I might have to be Out later as I already see two dates where I will be out of town
