I recently sent in a water sample to Triton just for my own information and to verify my test kits.

I just received the results this morning and was shocked to find out that there is copper in my system.

The problem is its so low it doesn't register on my test kit.

After converting from ug/l to ppm the total is 0.004ppm.

Does anyone know at what concentration copper causes issues?

Could this be the cause of several problems I've been having including limited growth from my sps?

If a poly pad doesn't change color and the test kit reads 0, which do you think is correct? Triton or the other 2?

How do we send in samples? This seems like a good idea to see if your kits are testing correctly.
Order a sample kit from Unique Corals and follow the directions.
Its $50 per kit, this includes postage and test results.
It gives you a ton of information.
For more info visit unique coral's website or Triton-lab.de

Seachem Cupisorb in a fluidized reactor, or you can try the new detox product from Triton. I show high Aluminum in one tank and high Lithium in the other and still have no answer on how to lower. I did add Polypad and 1 liter of Cupisorb and will retest in a month.
