Yea it's prepaid thru aquarium water testing....thought it was the same with triton

Wow that's weird, looking on unique corals it looks like they changed things up, now it says "affix required postage" :(

Just wondering, since they are located near me, are people sending off water samples only when they have problems, or "just to know" even when things look good?

Called unique corals , was told some tests were not labeled correctly, and that new test kits have been updated with new shipment instructions.. $2.45 is the postage needed to ship..

The web site says to test your water for trace elements, so you will "be able to precisely replicate natural the water chemistry conditions from reefs around the world", i thought the ~5 or so articles on testing all reef salts showed every brand of salt varied a lot from NSW in their trace profiles?

That's why they suggest using their salts .

I'm going to send it my first test soon. Just started the Triton system this month.

With the testing, they give you a baseline and your variance. So in theory you could use any salt, then add the particular elements that are low etc.
