Just visited again today. They are over at the new place now. Still doing final plumbing on last SW fish tanks but the frag tanks are done and some of the first SW fish only tanks are cycling with some damsels.
They hope to have a grand-reopening by June 1st. I'll visit again and see how it is then.

hey there... i really want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has posted things, good and bad, about Tropical Fish House and Pets-Montclair. Thank You for actually putting us on the map!!! Call me crazy but I actually took a picture of the page of posts about us because I was so excited.. haha lol Just wanted to let you know that I am finally done plumbing all the systems and we actually have a fairly decent size selection of salt water fish right now. We're not completely stocked yet just cause i dont want to overload and crash the systems. Plus we do have a small selection of LPS and live rock from Vanuatu and Fiji. I will start ordering SPS and fragging soon. !!!!! PLEASE COME CHECK US OUT !!! We are in a completely new building and everything is fresh and new. (and not smelly... LOL ) I have been setting up the entire fish section by myself and its been crazy overwhelming. It would be really awesome to hear any requests or suggestions from you. Let me know what you liked and didnt like and what we're still missing. THANKS

EVERYONE if you live in Montclair/Claremont/Ontario/Chino/Pomona/Rancho/Upland/etc etc Come down and check them out. They have a BRAND NEW store, full pet supplies. New fish tanks full of really really cheap and good fish. fresh/saltwater stuff. birds. reptiles. rats. puppies. feeder snakes/rats/worms/crickets/guppies.... Anyways and they are building a big frag tank and already have 2 coral tanks...

WOW thank you so much for offering to help me out. Actually i have already finished doing all the plumbing for the fresh and salt systems. I did 2 double sided isles, 5 sump systems each isle. each system has 8 x 20gal. plus the sump. thats for freshwater. and for salt i did 6 separate systems: 1.) 8 x 20gal. plus the sump. 2.)3.)&4.) 1 x 30gal and 90gal plus sump. 5.)12 x 30gal plus the sump. and 6.) 5 x 10gal and 2 x 65gal frag tanks plus sump.
what i could deffinately use some help with is figuring out how to set up multiple auto top off switches off of only one feed line. the hard part is having to come from the water tower and then over the top of a 15-18ft wall and then somehow cross over a customer walking isle... It would probably be more easy if you could see what im talking about. but basically iv been looking on NAW for auto top offs and dont really know which one to choose... help

SWEET!!! thanks for that : ) we dont have puppies though. but everything else yes!!! im seriously thinking of making some kind of "suggestion box" or something so that people can tell us what they think of service, supplies, etc. maybe give ideas or whatever. likes dislikes. what do you think- you think people would use it or probably not????

I realize this is so cali "REEF" but for any of you who have both salt AND fresh water tanks... We are getting a huge delivery of fresh water fish in this Tuesday, (5/29/12). Community, cichlid, plant friendly...... Plus we just got 6 tanks full of live plants in 4 days ago. Please come check it out. THANKS!!!
Hey, If you ever need any help, I'm unemployed at the moment... Make OK money with unemployment so unless I find a great job.. can't take a job that will stop me from getting unemployment... ANYWAYS, I can help out for cash, under the table and minimum wage is cool, whatever, just need to get out of the house. full time, part time, weekends, whatever.
