Be incredibly careful when shopping at the mystic reef. He'll take every penny you have while making you feel like you're stealing from him with the incredible deals he just gave you. "That's why you gotta support your local reef store, buddy. You're a cool guy, man. Now that we're buds, you get the friend price from now on. " Based on my early experiences with mystic reef, I would never suggest a newer reefer go there. BE CAREFUL.

Hah you guys are killing me. This forum is is awesome. I only have liveaquaria to compare prices, so if mystic is close on price so be it. Can't possibly expect to drive around all over socal to save $10 would be more in gas than it's worth. As a noob it's more about backing up what comes out of your mouth and Mystic did that on more than one occasion. Learning is a process and as this thread shows everyone has they're favorite store and who they like dealing with. I'm happy to pop in to other shops and check it out but living in CHH not much is close. I'm happy to pay a little more and get the customer service to back it up, that being said Brea made right what was wrong as well so I can't fault them too much. As another thread(which shall go un-named) being new I didn't ask the right questions/test their water so lesson learned. I'm addicted now and going from a 45gal corner to a 45 gal corner reef AND 110gal FOWLR. So it begins!!!!!!
