I just added a tube anemone yesterday and this morning I noticed that he had tentacles coming out of both ends. Is that normal? His bottom half WAS buried.

pictures would help but, tube nems normally only have 1 head unless its splitting. The bottom half is normally buried in the sand. This doesn't mean that they don't move. Tube nems often detach its head (tentacles) when stressed. It will grow back with in a couple of weeks.

the left side is the bottom, and the right side is the head. face the bottom end in a corner somewhere.

Yeah left side is the bottom and it's about 6" from the side of the tank. Only had tentacles on the right side last night.
