Twin Arc MH bulbs?

Anyone using or have used a twin arc metal halide bulb? I see they now have 8k/10k and Ocean Blue 20k/22k plus other's.

i wanted to try these bulb but with the deal i got from sps coral store on the 250w aquamax 14k bulb i could not resist. i am really happy with the bulb

I thought the 8k/10k splitting the day would be cool to see what it does with the corals. Give them 8k from 10:00 to 2:00 then 10k from 2:01 to 6:00 letting T5s and LED s do the dawn to dusk.

I used them a few years back. I didn't see much difference. I used the 15K/20K bulbs. They'd fire 15k for the first 4 hours then 20k for another 4 hours.

In person could you see a big difference in spectrum shift/ color with corals also?

Some what but not a big difference. In my thread I took a pic with the left side at 14k and the right at 20k. Could u see the diff?

Is your tank wet yet. I swear I remember you had a tank build right
