Hi guys! Helping a friend sell his two rbta on a 50+ polyp eagle eye and dragon eyes rock. The rbtas are orange and green with white specs. I took a picture next to a turkey baster for size reference! Located in corona!

nice nems but it doesn't look like RBTA though.
that's actually what mine looked like when it was in my nano. the bubbling part seems to unexplainable - everyone has a theory, but none of it has actually been proven.

my RBTA has a pink/red tip, which fades/turns into green at the base..

it had long stringy tentacles in the nano, and turned bubbly when i moved it to the bigger tank.

i've heard:
  • lighting
  • flow
  • placement
  • livestock (clowns hosting)
each one of them has a plausible explanation, but, i still haven't come across anyone who has actually been able to PROVE that their theory is the right one. everyone just gives anecdotal evidences.

i have the nem from jesse in my frag tank, which has t5's and a MH. it hasn't really changed.
my DT has only LEDs..

but, if i put it into the DT, i wouldn't have proven that it was the lighting, since the flow is different, space constraints, etc.

I had mine under t5 and it lost all the bubble and turned stringy. My brother had them in his tank for probBly 6 years with no issues. It got bubbly when I turned off all the power heads. But mine had a major color change going from one tank with t5 to mine .

It's totally random.. I keep mine w led and one can be bubbled and another right next to it stringy.. Then the next day they switch .. I've been a Nem hoarder for long enough to try every variation, flow, lighting, feeding, hosting / 'vacant' ... To no avail .. Just like a woman, it just depends on their mood!! ;)
