Ultra Rare Acan...What u think?

The forbidden acan....Acan Maxima Apparently only comes from one part of the ocean, and it's illegal to export corals from that area...Or so I've been told.

For size reference.

I've had this coral in my tank for about 2.5 years. Super slow grower. When I got it, the skeleton actually cracked in half, and I almost lost it. The other half died, and this half barely hung on. After a few months it healed and got a sweet orange color. Been this way for about 2 years now.

Just wanted to see what u guys thought ...

It would be super hard to ID since they're not much pics of them out there but if indeed it is the maximus your sitting on some gold. Anyways what's on the scoly in the 3rd pic?

I see them every so often they rare yes maybe 1 or 2 at a time they just are expecive

Have no idea, I paid a big fat $0 for it. I almost sold it after I got it, not knowing what it was. The guy I got it from said it was some super rare coral....thought he was BSing me. Then [MENTION=210]evad1[/MENTION] stopped by my house and noticed what it was. Good thing I didn't sell it.

Super rare lol? Maybe he was just messing with you. Those are fairly common and can can be picked up for 30-60 each.
