Does anyone have experience with Unicorn Tangs?. The reason I ask is that I purchased one about a month ago. I really have wanted one for awhile. Anyways when I bought him he was mostly grey/whiteish which is normal. He was labeled a white tail unicorn because the tip of his tail is white and he has a white ring where his tail meets his body. Anyways when I brought him home immediately he turned kind of brown splotched, looks like camoflauge. Im pretty sure it is stress colors because once in awhile he lightens up to more of the grey/white color he was when I bought him but mostly he is camoflauge looking. Im wondering if he will ever return to his natural colors he was when I bought him. I really like this fish but it does not seem normal. Is it a juvenile thing? He is only about 2 inches.
Anyways just wondering if anyone has any insight on unicorn tangs. Im really wishing I had a camera to share pics with everyone.

Don't worry too much as it. As long as your fish is eating and swimming you should be fine. My Vlamingi did the same thing.... But that is normal.

Reefer- Has your Vlamingi returned to its normal colors? If so how long did it take? Also just a side note, where did you get the Vlamingi?

I bought my Vlamingi from Coral oasis 8 months ago. It was 3", the color change throughout the day. I don't think it has anything to do with STRESS cuz mine is the largest fish in the tank (8-9") but the color still changing especialy when he going inside the cave or shade area.
