As a proud new sponsor of SCR / PR, it is great to be able to present our upflow algae scrubbers here. The whole algae scrubber concept is new to most people, so don't feel left out if you don't get it at first. The biology is simple though: All the lakes, and all the oceans, are filtered by algae. So if you can grow the algae on purpose, where you want, and when you want, then it will absorb (filter) all the bad things out of the water, thus reducing or eliminating water changes and/or the other filters you may be using. Then you just throw the algae away, or feed some to your animals! So here are the different upflow algae scrubbers available:

Do I need air pump? Oh is a complete set

Hi there, yes you will need to get an air pump. The modified Fusion 700 we sell work on all of them except the SURF8...
