Going to have to wait to setup the WXM though. My Apex is currently setup on my old tank so it will be the last thing installed.

Need some advice... Now that the tank is filled and we are starting the cycle process the wife put together her fish list. Need some suggestions on the best way to add the fish. I used Dr Tims one and only to start. Plan on waiting untill it is fully cycled so no freaking out :)
The wife would like to add a few tangs - Purple (which we already have in our other tank) Yellow, Hippo, desjardini sailfin, mimic lemon peel and possibly a powder blue (still going back and forth on this one). Some blue reef chromis, clowns and a Flame fairy wrasse.

The thing is I would prefer not to run two tanks longer than we absolutley have to which means the tangs would come first. However that is a large amount of fish to add at once to a newly established tank. Looking for some advice/suggestions.

In that case just start with your two most docile tangs and so forth. Maybe every week or two you can add another two.

emac said it worked for him to put a mirror in front of the tank to confuse the tangs and prevent aggression when you put in new ones. That might be a good idea for you.

Hi I'm the wife and I don't know if it would change anything but the current tank we are running has: the purple tang which is maybe 2 inches nose to tail, a 9 inch zebra eel, a small tile starfish, a BTA anemone, and a few other corals and CUC. I am worried about moving the BTA.

Hi, welcome!

I wouldn't worry too much about the BTA. I think it'll be fine. Just acclimate it like if you brought it from the store.

I would put the lemon peel first, then try to put the yellow, purple and desjardini at the same time, blue can go next but make sure its QT, and finally the PB but make sure you QT him or else you are not going to be happy when it gets ick and start infecting others. Add them slowly tho.

How long would you recommend waiting between the lemon peel and the other three?

Maybe 3 weeks? that should give it enough time to have good bacteria in the tank. Just check your levels often.

Thank you :) I had some advice to just put all 5 in at once. Wasn't to sure about that
On a new tank?? Nope! It took me several months to get all my tangs in. I usually add them at night just a few hours before the lights go off OR get an acclimation box so the new tangs don't get punked.

Tested my levels while it's cycling. Ammonia-0, nitrite-0.4, nitrate-5, calcium-620, alk-9.5, magnesium-1400, PH-8.3

All with Red Sea tests minus PH...

When should a biopellet reactor be setup? Right away or a few months after the tank has cycled?

The only dumb questions are the one's we don't ask, we all learn everyday :) you will get some cyano thats why its better not to have corals when you start it.
