OK guys, here is the deal. I recently had to kick out my brother from my house, he had been living there for the past year and supposedly was taking care of the 360 gallon and 90 gallon tanks. They are in a pretty poor state. Lots of salt creep, a couple water spills onto the floor, and not much maintaining done over the past year, so there are in serious need of a large scale clean, probably involving removing some of the rocks from the tank to be scapped clean of garbage algae and other crap. The 90 gallon lost a decent amount of fish, but still a tang, wrasse and some shrimp are alive, not sure what else, but pretty sure the flame and potters are gone. Needs a complete overhaul. The 360 obviously is more stable, so from what I can see only a few fish died, the other potters, a golden headed sleeper goby, banghais, but the purple, yellow, blue tangs, Koran, Emperor, and amazingly the 1 1/2 year old Moorish Idol are still kicking. but the tank is a mess, most of the coral is dead, and the RBTAs are not looking good. Major cleaning time.

So the reason for the post is that I am looking for cleaning business recommendations for the Orange County area, Huntington Beach exactly. I plan to help myself, so looking for a start-up, hobbyist owned business which can basically come over this Saturday for maybe 6-8 hours and do a thorough cleaning of the tanks.

Any ideas?

Yup, Richard came by on Saturday and did a great job. Everything is looking good, Corals are starting to open up and the nasty algae is mostly gone. I'll probably do a little more work this week, but hopefully the tanks will be back to self sufficient in a week or two!

That is really good to hear. I knew Richard would do a great job, I only wish that I had known he was coming down this way so I could have him stop by my place too.
