I was wondering if anyone has done this? I can't really hang my lights from the ceiling and was thinking of maybe using some brackets and a dry wall anchor for extra support. Open to other ideas as well!!

I've seen it done! It sometimes looks great depending on the tank size ... For me aesthetically I find it appealing if the tank is large. But that's my opinion!

Ohana means family and family means no seahorse gets left behind.

Decided to give it a shot! No idea what these apartment walls are made of though... snapped a metal dry wall anchor in half

Let's see it!

My mom says I learn by error by trial. -- she loves me.
Lights are off for the night, need to move the tank 1.33 inches to the right for it to be perfectly centered. Will be doing an update thread soon! Been a crazy few weeks, just got the first fish in 2 hours ago!! Had the tank up and running before i even finished the lights lol
