Quick question. First time trying to plumb return.
I just got a Red Sea reefer 250 and I am trying to connect the Vectra s2 to the green flexible return tubing that came with the Red Sea reefer.
I asked BRS what the best way to do it, and they suggested a barb fitting (not the one that evotech sells for the S1, supposedly doesn’t fit s2?) https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/gray-male-pipe-adapter-spigot-x-barb.html
Just wanted to ask if anyone has experience and if this is the best way to go? If so, do I just use pvc cement to glue the Vectra coupler to the barb fitting? Is primer needed?
I’ve read some posts about using abs pvc cement but most seem to say pvc cement is fine?
