I was just looking into this product as well. My tank is fine but I have a friend with a horrible problem.

I've about a month into my treatment on my temp tank. So far, I think it's working. I have a horrible problem with bubble algae and it seems to be keeping it at bay. There's a few patches that have seemed to gone down but still there.

I am currently trying this out after following the thread mentioned above from that other site. Too many good reviews to not try it out. It has only been two weeks since I started but I can already notice a difference in water clarity and reduced algae.

I've been using it on my 50 gallon that had a horrible bubble algae and HA problem. I must say that the nuisance algae is slowly receding but I don't know if it's the additive or my tank going thru another "cycle"like it does once a year. This time was the worst I've seen and I've pretty much lost all my sps and I was ready to throw I the towel.

I have used this for the past 4 to 5 months on 2 different tanks. First time it cleared up a Cyano problem I had. 2nd tank it helped clear up a green algae problem. Definitely works.

Kent Marine Tech M doesn't have the metals in it like it use to. I talked to Brightwell Aquatics who's sister company is Continuum and they indicated the product to get is Brightwell Aquatics Hydrat-Mg for Bryopsis.

I also followed the thread in the other forum about Vibrant and sounds pretty good however I'm guessing it probably has algaecides so just watch it.

Thanks for the tip! I did see some post saying that they changed the formulation but figured I could give it a try. I'll order a bottle soon.

djrice69, looked like this liquid controlling your algae issue. Sorry to hear you lost that beautiful WD gem.

Tired of cleaning my glass panels every 2 days. I jumped a wagon and ordered a 16oz bottle couple of days ago. Hope it works and will eliminate a few scatter spots of cyanos and less frequent of glass panels cleaning.
