Whats the best solution to create for giving equipment a vinegar bath? 1/2 water to 1/2 vinegar??? How long of a soak? Anyone notice any deterioation of rubber/plastic parts if left too long in a soak?
Thanks for any input.

I usually do about 20% and leave it overnight. If you're looking for something quicker, increase the concentration

I used a lil over a half gallon in my laundry room sink. I left the equipment running, took a few hours. I periodically used a scraper to get the thick coraline off.

I do about 20% also. I also try to use warm water...just past tepid. You don't want too hot because it might overheat your pumps whatever but normally I use warmish water with the vinegar and then let the equipment run for about an hour or so. After that anything still stuck comes off with a brushing.
