My main SPS is behaving wonky after 4+ years. I lost a huge colony of stags overnight and even the indestructible Green Slimer is pizzzed! It’s insane - never had this before.

Speaking of insane, I’ve moved the Vivid Insanity to the 7mos tank so fingers crossed. If it doesn’t RTN by the end of this month, I’ll considered myself a winner! lol

I did move a mushroom colony and its cage to the tank and added 2 torches. Dunno - suspect it’s some contamination? Water params are the stable though.

Check to see if there is Chloramine in your system. I had a few times in the past that creeped on me through the year when I am not on top of my RODI water.

Even if it was contamination I don't think it would've happened that fast. Alk levels okay? Few times I've had issues was due to alk swings.

Alk is fine — I’m on a CaRx and it’s been hovering between 8.5 to 9’ish. What’s weird — another colony (same species) is next to this massive colony but perfectly fine. I’ve tried to frag a few frags at the tip and they also died the next day.

Hopefully, you find the culprit with the ICP. Stags are pretty hardy, so something is definitely off.

I have decent PE and a little color developing. Did you get you icp results back? Hope everything if back to normal

Mine had PE first few days in my tank but disappeared like the rest of my sps. My clown gobies like to hop around and host all the sps.

I’m getting decent polyp extension. I just swapped out my Red Sea lights for the AI edge lights. My pearl berry is taking off and red planet is making a comeback.

My tank is also running fallow til the end of the month. Had a velvet outbreak. Waiting til I pick up some quarantined fish from Jason and I’ll pick up the new ruler then.
