Hi all,

Not sure if it's kosher or not, but I know a lot of members here are also on R2R, and there is a voting poll for the R2R "Mariner of the Month" award, and our own @TangerineSpeedo is the current front runner by a very slim margin (don't let the #s fool you, some of them are invalid votes and there's only a 3-4 vote difference). I encourage anyone who is also on R2R to head over and give our friend a vote! Don't bother creating a new account, because poll rules state that you have to have been on R2R for a certain period of time for your vote to count.

I didn't enter in this round, because my tank is currently going through hell. I've been neglecting the 40 while iteratively setting up the 83 in my office. Just measured NO3 and PO4 yesterday:

And my ALK was at >15dkh by Salifert test.

My normal parameters are:
NO3 <1, >0
PO4 0.06
ALK 7.7-8

And by the look of my tank, I can tell why. Growth stopped and a number of my SPS and a few LPS are dying, so nutrient and supplement consumption has slowed or stopped, but my doser's still dumping 66mL of AFR every day (I just dropped it to 20mL while I get things sorted).

Emergency water change and trying to get back on track while expediting this 83g setup and tank transfer!

Similar to our last Presidental Election, it appears that our SCR candidate will win both the 90 electoral college and popular vote to secure the Mariner of the Month.
