Mechanical Engineer by degree from CSULB 2002. Experienced in Operating/Set-up CNC machines, 2-5 axis Lathe/Mill experience manual and CNC. Most recent job was 3d printing metal parts for aerospace (yes I have parts in space, parts flown on rockets, and parts on satellites) made on GMb SLM 280 and GMb SLM 500HL printers in multiple exotic materials (like Inconel and Haynes 282) along with automotive prototypes for multiple pro racing teams. I was a AS 9100 certified inspector for aerospace parts for Boeing and at the time SpaceX, I also have experience in coral farming with large/small systems. Looking for anything really... PLEASE PM me. Thanks

I remember standing in line back in the 80s with guys like you waiting for testing to get into a union utility school. All laid off out of the aerospace industry. Bunch of suits and briefcases standing next to me and others in jeans, T-shirt and boots.
You have the right attitude. Having a parent that came through the Great Depression as a kid, she taught us, her kids to take ANY job offered. Either you’re not hungry enough or too lazy to work if you don’t.
I‘ll be seeing a buddy of mine at church in the morning. He’s a machinist guy too. Runs those automated jobs. I just texted him to see who he works for. If he doesn’t answer I’ll ask in the morning.
Checkout the manufacturing section on Craigslist. I just did in OC and see plenty of jobs. Hope the links work. The first three look to be the same place. Good luck.
