Quick question...
Picked up a couple of the blue plastic food grade barrels for RO water storage...
They were originally filled with Horse shampoo concentrate...
Any way to ensure I get every last bit cleaned out? any special chemicals I may be able to use to make sure it's clean?
Thanks

Water and bleach. Then rinse the barrel with fresh water a couple of times.. But this is a tough call since it did have chemicals in it before. I personally wouldn't use them.

bleach and water or vinegar/muriatic acid and water like mentioned above, but I would let them sit with the bleach/acid for a couple of weeks and out in the sun if you can, then rinse and use.

good luck

I wouldn't use them; solid rule in this hobby is use food grade only. There are food grade barrells out there relatively cheap.
