Hey guys, have a few questions regarding what type of pump to buy. I just purchased my new tank, and I'm kind of undecided as to how I'm going to plumb the tank, or lost for that matter. The return holes under my overflow box are for 3/4" bulkheads. I also have two holes on the braces of the tank, those are for 1 1/2" bulkheads. I'd like to use just one pump to feed all four bulkheads. How'd be the best way to go about this? What pump do you recommend? I'd like for the pump to be as energy efficient as possible. Thanks in advance guys.

you can make a manifold, using one pump. I think a reeflo hammerhead hybrid would be great for your system

External pump... I was running two pumps on my old system, both external. One was fed through my fuge, the other was on a CLS. I'd like to have just one, if that makes any sense.

I'm a little confused on the bulkhead size. Are you sure the 1 1/2 are returns and not drains? You can indeed build a manifold off the return line but a lot depends on how and what you want to run off that manifold. Maybe some pics of the tank would help

I have a total of 4 holes under overflow two are for 1 1/2" bulkheads. Return right? Then two 3/4 bulkheads. I also have two more holes drilled on each corner of my eurobrace, those are for 1 1/2" bulkheads ImageUploadedByTapatalk HD1364183943.026355.jpg

Thank you for the clarification. So now back to my original question. Which pump would be ideal for my tank? I really don't want to use sea swirls, I'd like to feed everything from one pump. I'll also have 2 MP60's and 2 MP40's for water movement.

Reeflo Super dart gold or the hammer head hybrid will work for you just fine
