Hi, looking to start a new tank and will likely be lazy and buy one that is ready to go. The two I have narrowed down to is the Waterbox 135.4 or the Reefer 450. Thoughts?

Trying to find info about the Waterbox is hard. Reefer touts the quietness of their tank. Anyone know about noise with waterbox?

Thanks!

waterbox is fairly new so might be tough to find reviews. I have a RedSea Reefer 170 and love it. All you need is a return pump to get your tank cycling. Most don't like the built in ATO because it doesn't hold a whole lot but I have a JBJ ATO hooked to the RedSea Reservoir to keep it filled. Overall, the build quality of the RedSea is great. If I were to buy a bigger DT, I'd definitely be looking at the larger Reefer series.

Water box looks cool kinds similar to reefer but I think the reefer has more options and it includes better light

This will also be my first glass tank. Tired of the scratches on acrylic.... Really hoping there will be no issues with leaks or exploding tanks. =)

Don't be fooled, glass will scratch as well. I'm not sure about the wavebox tanks but the RedSea Reefer uses low iron glass and can scratch because it's softer than normal glass.
