Hello everyone, over the last week or so I have had this spider web like algae growing on my rocks and back glass. Have done WC I have scraped all the **** as best I can. Also try to siphon off rocks when I do water changes but it's on there pretty good. Been trying to find info but to no avail. I have ruled out vermetid snails as any spider like substance would possibly imply presence of them but it's not. It will probably die off soon but any input would be appreciated. Tank has been running for 3 months and change. Parameters are as follows 3-20-15 SG 1.026 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 phosphate under .25 ph8.2

I realize the little bit of phos is probably my issue. Hoping WC's will bring it down. Sorry for cr ap pics. Thank you -Dylan image.jpg

Yeah I'm pretty sure he nailed it on the head. Sorry for sounding like a dick, the more I read, the more I realize there is no simple "cut and dry" solution so back to the drawing board. Thanks

Hmm not sure your pics suck. But if its cyano like gumby said than its super easy to get rid off...
Here's another pic of what it looks like on the back glass. Thanks for your input, how would you suggest I go about this? I've been reading a lot but there's so many things people say, it's hard to know what's the best solution. Thank you image.jpg

looks like you have a combo of cyano and dinos. Check your po4. Need more info on your parameters to help you out.

last picture looks like dino. with the led light cant really make out the first 2 pictures. cyano use the red slimer remover. i hate usiing chemicals on my tank but easiest way is using chemical. make sure you remove carbon and stop skimming. but add air stone cause the stuff depelet o2 from your agua. if its dino. check Tangwich thread. he wrapped his tank in total darkness for 2-3 days. like he wraps balls to even out the tan lines.
