Are there any stores that do big sales here?

Up in Oregon one of the shops used to do a huge sale. They would have a line of about 100 or so people, which was crazy, because they were in a small town. Seems like every reefer in a 100 miles was there.

Anything like that here?

Online is your best bet. Brick and mortar stores struggle too much here to be able to complete

I got a tunzecare strong scraper... that thin is awesome! Easier than using a razor blade, 100X better than a flipper.

I love brick and mortar. Especially when I am having a problem NOW!!! I don’t mind paying a bit more to ensure their viability.

I know it is. I tend to fall into that same trap to. I do try to shop local whenever I can. Only time I order online now is when the local shops say they can't get something. Then to Marine Depot I go.

If I remember right Tongs used to have a huge sale for Thanksgiving, but my last couple trips there... I'm not sure it is worth going to.

I am in the same boat. Most of the stores by me are willing to order or bring in anything I ask for that they do not carry. Strictly Fish and Age of Aquariums have been great about it. I just thought it might be a good time to branch out into a new shop.

scored a 15g rimless low iron aquarium today, some bags of contrsoil, and some ada tissue culture plants for CHEEP!...

tank, filter, heater, soil, plants, rocks, everything but the light was discounted today from joe's, bob's and amazon... and the total price is about 110 so far... WooT!... i already have an old light...
