what is a good light for fish only and how often do you do water changes?

Hey guys just wondering what is a good light for fish only systems? and how often do you do water changes?

Well for fish only any light will do i like shimmer in the water so led would be kool, depending on how big the tank you can use cheaper led. In terms of water changes that all depends on amount of fish and how much you feed but in general id say every other month or so.

cheap LED white and blue setup. water changes will always depend on your bioload. And it's not always how many fish but what kind can be just as important. Some fish are really poopy. very low po4 and no3 are not as important with fish only setups but it still can affect fishes health and stress levels if you let them get too high. At least you can use the cheapest quality salt you can find.
