Those are weird looking. Hydroids have a little stalk before the tentacles. The stuff in your pics don't seem to have that

Those are a type of clove/ daisy polyp. I use to have some but I can't remember the name. Definitely not a hydroid.

Be careful boiling rocks.. Have heard terrible stories about folks getting sick from the airborne toxins in the steam.. Not sure about these polyps .. But just a heads up

Kind of looks like Corky Sea Finger. How big is the rock?

2 pieces one is about 5*4*2 the left side is pretty big rock goes across middle of tank

You could just soak it in bleach water and use a wire brush.. ( goggles!) and dry it out a few days..I've also had luck with blue cloves by dipping in vinegar and scrubbing them off .. Then rinsed in nsw for a day, and back in the tank.
