Anyone know what this is? It’s on various rocks and quite a few of them. I’m referring to those spots pictured.

could be vermetid snail

Looks like vermetid snails. Supposedly you can get bumble bee snails and they take care of them.

Oh, and I've also read you can superglue the tube and you can also scrape them off.

I was hoping it wouldn’t be but so far that’s my best guess 😩 my only hope that it’s not is because they aren’t like tubes and from the photos I’m seeing those snails are like tubes on the rock but I could be wrong.

get some boner cutters and go to town

you'll probably never completely get rid of them, but before you load your tank up with coral, today would be a good day for vermetid smashing

I’ve got corals in the tank already which is what sucks , someone mentioned they could be black sponge?

I've had good luck with Bumblebee snails keeping the numbers down on the Vermetids
