Without putting too much effort on your equipment cooling your tank?

I think my return or my skimmer pump runs hot. Even when I put my A/C to 76/77F I still cant get the temp down by the ambiance temperature.

I was just curious in everyone's setup without cooling the water 24/7

Mine is 78.5
Tank: 50gallon
Wave Maker: 2x WP25
Return: Atman PH-3500
Skimmer Pump: Atman PH-2500
Fan/Chiller/Apex on at 78.7 off at 78.5

I recently re routed my chiller so all the return water goes through it before the main tank. worked much better at running less and cooling the tank to the desired temp of 78 and it holds for a while on a warm day. if its crazy hot the chiller will turn on a few times a day now. each time is longer though since its cooling all the water returning. before it was routed from sump to chiller back to sump and it would turn on for 3 minutes and then off for 15 then back on again. now its on for about 1 hour or so then off for many hours sometimes only once a day if its not to hot. I also added a fan on the sump and removed the back wall of the stand so it does not build up heat anymore. since the main pump is all I need now I got rid of one pump so now that's one less pump making heat too.

No cooling an my apex average is at 76.8. I run my temp and 76 and it tends to fluctuate up to 77 at times but never seems to hit 78. Does it count as a chiller if I keep it near an air vent? 😁

Specs:
30g Shallow
Via Aqua heater
AI Sols

High flow rate, LEDs and large water exchange area I think helps me keep the temp from fluctuating too much.

My tank has been staying between 79.5 and 80. No chiller but fan in the sump. Without the fan id be hitting 82. I dont have central ac.

I run mine 80 with fan in sump max at 82. Corals seem to has faster metabolism in warm water
