A lot of people swear by tropic marine and tropic marine pro...they are more expensive..

Tried it and its just too much work for me to mix so now I use free natural salt water from scripps:D

thanks for the reply, here in the desert-mountain areas, we dont have that luxury, and the lfs wants 85 a gallon, then you hear things like his rodi wasnt working right and he made his water anyways, i just like being self contained, plus it helps a few other local reefers out also..

used Tropic marin pro for a year... dunno why because i could never get stable params from bucket to bucket. Just switched to red sea pro and everything measures perfectly each time.

I use the regular Tropic Marin stuff. Was told that the Pro version is really made for the European market where kalkwasser is heavily used so Pro is lower in dKH.

I normally use Scripps, but every now and then I mix 50 gallons of Reef Crystals just to make sure I am keeping up on some trace elements. Stay away from Oceanic. I have heard nothing but horror stories about Oceanic having horrible impact on alkalinity.
