I'm not a fan of any myself. I use Mr clean magic eraser on the inside and a microfiber towel outside. Some people slice the magic eraser and put it between the magnet inside and place the towel between the outside magnet. Mr plant I believe is doing this

I use and recommend the mighty magnet. I also use a magic eraser pad sometimes. They also sell a scratch removal kit for underwater use.

With any magnet it's best to use then store outside the tank. Make sure the magnet is clean of any debris or sand before using again. But who does that?

OK that's the one I will pick up. Do you notice any movement of the magic eraser underneath the inner magnet? Looks like that one will be strong enough to fit the cloth and eraser under it.

Chris I don't use the magic eraser with mighty magnet, I just use a regular float magnet with the eraser. It doesn't hold real strong, but thats ok,I just use it for the brown film. I secure the eraser with rubber bands....

The mighty magnet, I just use their pads with it. BUT when you use the mighty magnet ALWAYS use the micro fiber cloth on the outside. These magnets are STRONG like Nick said.
